They close off the Clemente Bridge and just on the other side of the bridge, next to the stadium they have bounce houses, face painting, make your own smiley cookie, make your own pirate hat, and usually a band. If your directions take you over the 6th street bridge (Clemente Bridge), just use the 7th or 9th street bridge. The garage will be $12 and lots will be $15-$20. Or you could park in the one of the stadium lots or the garage right next to the stadium. There is one on 6th street which is right next to the bridge so you would just have to walk the bridge which is probably a quarter mile or a little more. There will be garages for more so just avoid those. You could also park in downtown which is just over the bridge from the stadium and on Sunday it will be $5 for all day. There are people who pull carts with their bikes (not sure what they are called) but they charge about $15-$20 each way. You can either walk by the river on the river walk or just walk the streets which have sidewalks.
They generally only consider even days when there are fireworks or something happening at Heinz Field. Kristine, If you park at the casino it should be free on a Sunday.
